7 REFUELLING
DANGER
Petrol is an extremely flammable fuel. Pay careful attention when handling petrol or a fuel
mixture. Do not smoke or bring naked flames near fuel or machine. Mix the fuel outdoors
where there are no sparks or open flames.
7.1 RECOMMENDED FUEL
This machine is powered by a 2-stroke engine and requires pre-mixing of petrol and 2-stroke engine
oil.
Mix 2-stroke engine oil with petrol according to the instructions on the package.
The Manufacturer recommends the use of Efco - Oleo-Mac 2-stroke engine oil at 2% (1:50)
formulated specifically for all air-cooled 2-stroke engines.
The correct oil / fuel ratios given in Table A are suitable when using PROSINT 2 EVO and EUROSINT 2
EVO engine oil or equivalent high quality engine oil (JASO FD or ISO L-EGD specification).
ATTENTION
• Do not use petrol with an octane rating below 90 RON. A lower octane rating can cause the
engine to knock, which causes damage to the engine.
• Do not use automotive oil or 2-stroke outboard engine oil.
• Only buy the amount of fuel you need based on your consumption; do not buy more than
you will use in a month or two;
• Store petrol in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
• Never use a fuel with a percentage of ethanol greater than 10% for the solution; gasohol
(mixture of petrol and ethanol) with a percentage of ethanol up to 10% or E10 fuel are
acceptable.
• Alkylate petrol does not have the same density as regular petrol. Therefore, engines tuned
with regular petrol may require a different adjustment. Contact an Authorised Assistance
Centre for this operation.
