Simple harness (Fig. 1.3S)
1. Place the machine on a flat and stable surface.
2. How to wear the single harness.
3. Attach the machine to the harness using the carabiner (Fig. 8.A).
4. Position the hook (Fig.1.18) to obtain the best balance of the machine.
5. Adjust the buckle to ensure the correct height of the machine.
Double harness (BCH 500 T -DSH 5000 T)
1. Place the machine on a flat and stable surface.
2. How to wear the double harness (Fig. 1.3T).
3. Fasten the buckle (Fig. 9.A) in the belt area and adjust it by acting on the top strap (Fig. 9.B).
4. Attach the buckle (Fig. 9.C) to the chest area.
5. Adjust the shoulder straps using the two straps (Fig. 10.D).
NOTE
With this harness it is possible to distribute the load more evenly on the shoulders or on the
belt, at the discretion of the operator.
6. Adjust the strap (Fig. 9.E) in the chest area.
7. Attach the machine to the harness using the carabiner (Fig. 8.A).
8. Adjust the height of the machine from the ground by acting on the two straps (Fig. 11.H-L). The
correct distance between the belt and the carabiner can be measured as in fig. 8. This adjustment
also ensures the correct distribution of weight to achieve a good balance of the machine.
9 START-UP
ATTENTION
Before starting the engine:
• make sure that the disc is free to rotate and is not in contact with foreign bodies
• check that the accelerator lever operates freely;
• check for fuel leaks and, if any are present, eliminate them before use. If necessary, contact
your dealer's Customer Service department.
9.1 START-UP PROCEDURE
1. Slowly push the primer 4 times (Fig. 1.8).
2. Put the starter lever to the CLOSE position (Fig. 12.A).
3. Pull the accelerator lever (Fig.1.17) and lock it in the half-acceleration position by pressing the
button (Fig.1.21) and then release the lever (Fig. 1.17).
4. Place the machine on the ground in a stable position.
5. Holding the machine with one hand (Fig. 13), pull the starter cable (no more than 3 times) until
you hear the first burst of the engine.
ATTENTION
• Never wind the starter cable around your hand.
• When pulling the starter cable, do not use its entire length; it can cause it to break.
• Never release the cable brusquely; hold the starter grip (Fig. 13) and let the cable rewind
slowly.
