- Press the
button (1, Fig. 55f) to take a sensor reading (Fig. 55e).
- Once the value is read, the data entry screen appears as shown in Fig. 55f, with the sensor
data automatically compiled.
In some cases, the sensor conveys data only if tyre pressure changes by at least 0.2. For
these sensors, the message DEFLATE WHEEL will appear on the display, so a pressure
change is required to enable valve transmission.
If the reading is not acquired, the message "Valve
not recognised" is shown on the display (Fig. 55g).
Check that the sensor is positioned correctly and
press
to repeat the procedure (1, Fig. 55g).
If the problem persists, check if the sensor is
damaged.
Replace the sensor if damaged, following the in-
structions in the section relative to sensor date
(2, Fig. 55h).
- At the end of the procedure, press the
button (1, Fig. 55h) to exit the programme, then
repeat the procedure to test sensor function.
- Press the
button to exit the TPMS function
and e return to the main screen.
NOTE: At the next activation of the TPMS device the screen in Fig. 55f will be displayed
with the data of the previous vehicle. Press button 3, Fig. 55f to select a new vehicle or
button 1, Fig. 55f for a new sensor reading.
