6.1.2 Setting the maximum charging current
The tasks described in this section may only
be carried out by a qualified electrician.
The maximum charging current of the charging
point can be set via DIP switches 1, 2 and 3 on bank
S2.
The maximum charging current can be set to 6 A,
10 A, 13 A, 16 A, 20 A, 25 A or 32 A.

The settings ON – ON – ON are invalid for configur-
ing the maximum charging current (LED "Fault"
lights up). If these settings are selected, a new mas-
ter RFID card can be programmed ("taught").

6.1.3 Setting up authorisation through RFID
The tasks described in this section may only
be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Authorisation occurs through an RFID card and a
local whitelist. Up to 10 RFID cards can be managed
in the whitelist. The RFID cards included in the de-
livery contents are already programmed and in-
cluded in the local whitelist.
u Set DIP switch 3 on bank 1 to "ON".
6.1.4 Set unbalanced load limitation

Unbalanced load refers to the uneven loading of
the phases of a three-phase alternating current net-
work. In Germany, for example, the maximum differ-
ence between two phases at the mains connection
point is 20 A (in accordance with VDE-N-AR-4100).
n If an external energy meter is not connected,
the unbalanced load of the product is limited.
n If an external energy meter is connected, the
charging current is regulated taking account of
the unbalanced load from all measured con-
sumers.
u Observe applicable national regulations.
u Set DIP switch 2 on bank S1 to "ON".
ð The unbalanced load is limited to 20 A (default
setting).
To limit the unbalanced load to a different current
value, the configuration tool is required.

6.2.1 Downgrade
The tasks described in this section may only
be carried out by a qualified electrician.
By using the downgrade input, it is possible to re-
duce the grid connection charging current that is
not available at its maximum level under certain cir-
cumstances or at certain times. For example, the
downgrade input can be controlled by the following
criteria or control systems:
n Electricity rate
n Clock position
n Load shedding
n Manual control
n External load management
In the delivery state, the downgrade input is con-
trolled as follows:
