Connection and configuration
Connecting an external energy meter
The product is compatible with the following energy
meters:
n Siemens PAC1600 7KT1661 (The energy meter
incl. the current transformer and instructions
can be ordered from MENNEKES using part no.
18626.)
n TQ Energy Manager EM 420 / KOSTAL Smart
Energy Meter
u Install the external energy meter in the up-
stream electrical installation.
u Connect the energy meter and the product with
a data cable.

For solar charging, the following settings have to be

Blackout protection:
Blackout protection is enabled automatically for
solar charging, which is why the max. amperage
provided by the building connection must also be
set via the DIP switches.
