TAPE EDITING
CONNECTION WITH ANOTHER VCR [0].
To edit a home movie tape, another VCR with
AUDIO/VIDEO IN jacks is required.
Use the connecting cord VMC-606M/607M for
connection. (if the AUDIO IN Jack of the other video
recorder is stereo, use the VMC-608MS/6090MS Instead.)

1 Set the POWER switch of the CCD-V3/V30 to
PLAYER, and turn on the other VCR.
2 insert a recorded cassette to the CCD-V3/V30,
and a blank cassette to the other VCR.
Be sure that the blank tape Is rewound to the beginning.
Slide down the EDIT switch of CCD-V3/V30.
Set the input selector of the VCR to LINE.
Press the 3% button of the CCD-V3/V30 during
playback at the point where you want to start
recording.
6 Press the record button of the other VCR,
pressing the I button.
7 Release the §§ buttons of both units.
Recording will start.

After editing, turn off both units and be sure
to slide the EDIT switch to the upper position.
To cut off an unnecessary portion
Press the 1 button of the other VCR at the beginning of the
unnecessary portion.
Release it where you want to resume recording.
Function of the EDIT switch
Stide this switch down whenever you edit tapes. Signal loss
that results from tape-té-tape transfer will be reduced,
achieving more accurate signal transfer.
When recording or playing back normally, keep this switch
in the upper position.
