4 Installation location and installation
Installation location
When selecting an installation location, note the following:
Transient emissions (acc. to DIN EN 61000-6-4:2007-09)
|
Interference resistance (acc. to DIN EN 61000-6-2:2006-03)
|
Required grid quality (acc. to DIN EN 61000-3-11:2001-04 and
|
DIN EN 61000-3-12:2005-09)
The SmartConnect can be installed both in enclosed operating rooms and
externally.
Requirements
The installation location must be
|
fireproof,
|
free of combustible and explosive materials,
|
lockable, and
|
only accessibly by persons authorised by the operator.
|
Install the device on an assembly surface that is
|
level,
|
solid, and
|
temperature-resistant
|
and that can support the device weight of approx. 24 kg over a long
term. Note the following:
The connected cables cause extra load on the assembly surface
|
due to pulling and pressure.
Install the device in a location protected against external heat sources.
|
External heat sources include, for example, direct solar irradiation,
heated tin roofs, heating appliances or ventilation components.
Install the device in a location that is protected against humidity. Water
|
must not remain permanently on the device door seal (IP55).
In the event of frost: Check the seal of the device door before opening
|
the door. The door seal must not be damaged by freezing.
If the device door seal is damaged, replace the seal immediately.
