The optional external string switch-off system is deactivated.

The optional external signal transmitter is isolated.

The mains cable is not under voltage.

Additional safety measures have been checked and put in place where

necessary.
Required tools and measuring materials
Suitable ring or open-ended spanner with sufficient crank (width across
|
flats: 27 mm).
Installation wrench.

Cable stripper
|
Metric EMC screw connection M25 (included in the delivery).
|
Suitable cable end sleeves.
|
Install the metric EMC screw connection
1. Remove the seal screw fitting from the hole (see Fig. 3.3, page 15, item
(22)).
2. Fit the metric EMC screw connection in this hole.
3. Screw the metric EMC screw connection into place using metal nuts.
Note the following:
The teeth of the metal nut must penetrate the coating on the device
|
housing to ensure that the screw connection sits securely in place.
The metric EMC screw connection is installed.
Install the CAN cable in the EMC screw connection

(3) Insulation of the CAN cable
(4) Earthing spring of the EMC screw connection
1. Strip the CAN cable at the position (1) (approx. 10 mm) in which the
cable is guided through the EMC screw connection.
