Requirements for earthing cable
As short as possible.

Connect the earthing cable
1. Plug the earthing cable into the earthing connection (see Fig. 3.3,
page 15, item (14)) using the ring terminal, washer, spring washer and
M8 nut.
2. Tighten the M8 nut (torque 25 Nm).
3. Lay the earthing cable without bending and using the shortest route to
reference earth.
4. Secure the earthing cable to earth. Note the following:
R < 3 for reference earth

The earthing cable is connected.

Connecting the string cable

The string plus cable and string minus cable of the solar generator are
connected to separate terminals. The string plus cable and string minus
cable of the individual strings must always be assigned to the same series
terminal of the relevant terminal block.

If the string plus connection of a string is connected to the first terminal of
the plus terminal block, the string minus connection of this string must
also be connected to the first terminal of the minus terminal block.
Prerequisites
The DC disconnect is switched off (Off).

You have ensured that the device is voltage-free. Switching the DC

disconnect to Off does not guarantee that the device is free of voltage.
