Setting the parameters

You can reach "Setting the parameters" in the main menu by placing the selection bar on it by means of
the "arrow" keys and then pressing the "Enter" key.
The letters A and B in the left and right upper corner of the upper bar indicate that 2 induction electrodes
have been connected. If only 1 electrode had been connected, only the letter A or B would be shown.
In the middle section of the screen you find the set parameters. You can adjust the desired parameters by
means of the central control. With the 4 "arrow" keys, you can go to the various parameters and finally to
the lower bar. If no Circuplode had been connected, the left and right column of this middle section will
remain blank.
If an electrode is insufficiently loaded during treatment, this is indicated by the fact that the cursor bar will
light up and a beep will be heard. No power is applied until the loading is correct. A minimum "detector"
power is used for measuring the load.
Below right is the number of the memory place. How you store a program, is described hereinafter.
The presented parameters can be changed by first going to the parameter section with the "arrow up"
key. There you can go to each parameter by means of the "arrow" keys and you can change them by
turning the central control.
The frequency of 800 Hz can only be set if only one Circuplode-E is connected.
Should a 100 W Circuplode be connected and should the peak power be set to 200 W, the Curapuls 670
will automatically reduce the peak power to 100 W as soon as the treatment is started.
The intensity can be set in 5 Watt divisions.
The time can be set per 30 seconds, with a maximum of 30 minutes.
If you go to the "<<" sign in the lower left corner by means of the "arrow left" key and press the Enter key,
you return to the main menu.

Storing a program

If you wish to store the program after you have changed the parameter settings, go to the "store" symbol
in the lower right corner by means of the "arrow" keys. With the central control you can choose the
desired number for storage. A "*" behind a number means that a program has already been stored under
this number. If you push the Enter key, the already stored program will be overwritten, without furter
warning.
To clear a memory place number, you put all setting to their minimal values (65 µs, 26 Hz, 0W and 0
min.) and you store these settings in the desired memory place.
With the "arrow down" key you go back to the main menu, from where you can proceed to the treatment
memory or the treatment protocols. Push the Enter key.

Treatment memory

You choose a program number by turning the central control.
Only the numbers of the memory places where a program has been stored are shown. There is a
differentiation between conventional mode and mean power. Should you, for example, have programmed
24 programs for conventional mode and 1 for mean power mode, you only get to see one program
number when you wish to call a program for mean power.
Also the parameters of already stored programs can be changed and re-stored.
If you change a parameter, the text in the upper bar changes in "Treatment parameters" and next to the
protocol number the "store" symbol appears, with behind it a number.
You can overwrite the present program (go with the "arrow" keys to the most right "store" symbol and
push the Enter key) or assign a new memory place number (first choose a new number with the central
