Activating the Bluetooth
Interface
► If the battery has a Bluetooth
Press and hold the pushbutton until the

"BLUETOOTH
" LED next to the
lights up blue for approximately 3 seconds.

The Bluetooth
radio interface on the battery
is activated.

lights up blue six times.

8.1
Assembling the pole pruner
► Switch off the pole pruner and remove the bat‐
tery.

► Remove the protective cap (1).
► Adjust the shaft length to a = 10 cm
(HTA 160.0)
► Mark b = 6 cm on the shaft (2).

► Align the collet (4) (HTA 160.0) and transmis‐
sion (3) as shown.

► Slide the transmission (3) onto the shaft (2) up
to mark b.
► Tighten the screws (5) firmly.

► If you cannot push the transmission (3) onto
the shaft (2) up to mark b:
► Rotate the nut (7) counterclockwise until the
chain sprocket cover (6) can be removed.
► Remove the chain sprocket cover (6).
► Turn the chain sprocket (8) and push the
transmission (3) onto shaft (2) up to mark b.
► Fit the chain sprocket cover (6) so that it is
flush with the pole pruner.
► Fit the nut (7) and tighten it down firmly.
HTA 160.0
► Undo the screws (9).
► Pull out the protective tube (10).
► Remove the protective cap (11).
► Turn the shaft (2) and press it in the direction
of the control handle (12) until the distance
c = 2 cm.
