6 Care
WARNING
Fat or food residues in the cooking
cabinet
If you do not clean the VarioSmoker
sufficiently, there is a risk of fire from
fat and food residues.
Clean the VarioSmoker after every

use.
6.1 Care Products
Suitable care products
Clean the VarioSmoker with a com-

mercial degreasing agent and a soft
cleaning sponge.
Spray any areas with stubborn dirt

with a water-soluble degreasing agent
and leave it to work.

Unsuitable care products
Do not clean the accessory with the fol-
lowing unsuitable care products:
Scouring cleaning agents or abrasive

cloths
Substances containing hydrochloric

acid, caustic solution, sulphur or other
oxygen-requiring substances
Undiluted alcohol, methanol or

solvents such as acetone, benzene,
toluene or xylene
Oven cleaner or grill cleaner

Steel wool
n
High-pressure washer
n
Sharp or pointed tools
n
Do not clean the VarioSmoker in the

cooking cabinet.
Do not clean the VarioSmoker with the

unit's automatic clean.
Unsuitable cleaning agents may damage
the VarioSmoker.
6.2 Clean the VarioSmoker
CAUTION
The VarioSmoker will become hot
during operation
If you clean the hot VarioSmoker, there
is a risk of burns.
Let the VarioSmoker cool down

before cleaning.
Do not cool down the VarioSmoker

with the hand shower.
