SPECIAL CARE IN HYDRAULIC
SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
ƒ Make sure all components of the hydraulic
systems are kept in good state.
ƒ Replace immediately damaged, crushed or
spoiled hoses.
ƒ Do not attempt to improvise any repairs in
the hydraulic accessories or hoses by using
adhesive tape, clips or cement. The hydraulic
system works under extreme pressure. Such
repairs will fail suddenly and cause a very
dangerous and unsafe situation.
ƒ In case you have been injured by high-
pressure hydraulic fluids, seek medical help
immediately. Serious infection or a toxic
reaction might occur when hydraulic fluid
gets in contact with the skin surface.
ƒ Make use of appropriate protection on hands
and eyes when you check if there are any leaks
in the hydraulic system.
ƒ Use a piece of wood or a card instead of
using your hands to identify a hydraulic fluid
leakage.
In case you need to replace hydraulic hoses,
always act within current laws and dispose of
old hoses in a correct way.
The order of extra hoses should be sent to
the factory, which will provide all necessary
information. This way, we avoid the risk of
pollution and the danger of explosion due to
the use of non-genuine and inappropriate parts.
