SATA spray master RPOperating Instructions
■ All screws [# 1503], [# 61416] and [# 133967] are tight. Tighten
screws, if necessary.
■ Air nozzle are attached securely
■ Paint nozzle is tightened with a tightening torque of 14 Nm.
■ Technically clean compressed air used.
8.1. Initial Operation
■ Purge compressed air hose thoroughly prior to assembly.
■ Flush paint passage with suitable cleaning agent.
■ Thread connection nipple onto air connection.
■ Connect compressed air hose to air valve [1-9].
■ Adjust internal cup pressure according to the material to be
used.
■ Adjust air nozzle.
■ Set the air nozzle horns vertically when spraying horizontally.
■ Set the air nozzle horns horizontally when spraying vertically.
8.2. Normal Operation
Connecting the paint spray gun
■ Connect compressed air hose to air connection [1-9].
Adding material
Information!
When painting use only the quantity of material required for the work
step.
Maintain the necessary spray distance when painting. Store or dispose
of the material properly after painting.
■ Remove screw-on lid [1-15] of gravity flow cup [1-14].
■ Remove anti-drip device [# 70664].
■ Fill gravity flow cup (max. 20 mm below upper rim).
■ Insert anti-drip device.
■ Screw screw-on lid onto gravity flow cup.
Adjusting the material pressure
The material pressure can be read using the pressure gauge [1-8] and
variably adjusted with the regulator knob [1-10].
■ Pull control knob [1-10] away from paint spray gun until it audibly
releases.
■ Use the control knob to adjust the spray air volume and read the spray
jet pressure on the pressure gauge.
