Adjustment of the Spray Fan Pattern
The spray jet can be variably adjusted using round/flat fan control [1-7]
until a round fan pattern is produced.
■ The fan pattern can be set by turning the round/flat fan control [1-7].
■ Turn right – round fan pattern
■ Turn left – flat fan pattern
Starting to paint
■ Maintain spray distance (see Chapter 7).
■ Squeeze trigger all the way [1-2] and operate paint spray gun 90° to
the surface to be painted.
■ Provide for spray air supply and material supply.
■ Pull back on trigger and start painting. Readjust the material flow rate
and fan pattern as needed.
Completing the painting operation
■ Move the trigger [1-12] to the start position.
■ When you are finished painting, stop the spray air and empty the gravity
flow cup [1-14]. Read and follow the information on care and storage
(see 10).
9. Maintenance and Repair
Warning!
Risk of injury from sudden component separation or escaping
material.
If the compressed air circuit supply is not disconnected before perform-
ing maintenance work, components can detach and/or material escape
unexpectedly.
→ Disconnect the paint spray gun from the compressed air circuit before
performing any maintenance work.
Warning!
Risk of injury from sharp edges
When performing assembly work on the nozzle set, there is a risk of
injury from sharp edges.
→ Wear work gloves.
The chapter below describes the maintenance and repair of the
paint spray gun. Maintenance and repair work may only be carried
out by trained experts.
