come accessible. The gas electric valve, like
the one in the figure, is on the right of the gas
heater. To change machine gas supply pres-
sure, proceed as follows:
1) Loosen the safety screw closing the pres-
sure meter connection downstream of the
valve (cfr. fig. 2 pos. 1).
2) Then connect a pressure meter to the just
opened connection.
3) Remove the aluminium safety screw (cfr.
fig. 2, pos. 3). A plastic screw is hidden
underneath, which controls gas pressure
downstream of the electrical valve.
4) Open the gas supply stopcock and switch
the machine on.
5) When lighting up the burner, adjust the
pressure on the pressure meter until it reads
the desired value (cfr. the table containing
the values for each type of gas). Adjust by
slowly turning the plastic screw (cfr. fig. 2,
pos. 3): clockwise to increase, counterclock-
wise to decrease.
6) If the machine is fed on liquid gas (known
as LPG), open the valve completely, i.e close
the plastic screw fully: the pressure upstream
and downstream of the valve will be identi-
cal. To adjust gas pressure, use the regulator
at the LPG tank gas outlet (G30 or G31).
Valve description
1) Connection for the pressure meter read-
ing burner pressure. Closed with a safety
screw that can be loosened to read the pres-
sure: THIS SCREW MUST ABSOLUTELY
BE TIGHTENED OR PUT BACK IN
PLACE AFTER VALVE ADJUSTMENT.
2) Connection for the pressure meter read-
ing line pressure. Closed with a safety screw
that can be loosened to read the pressure:

3) Screw for the adjustment of the pressure
downstream of the valve, located under an
aluminium screw.

Gas dryers cannot be installed in premises
housing dry-cleaners, as burnt fuel could
react with the chemicals used for dry-clean-
ing and so produce substances that may be
toxic for man and corrosive for materials.

6. MACHINE DETAILS
6.1 MACHINE DESCRIPTION
The main parts of the machine are as fol-
lows:
1) Lid covering control and power parts.
2) Front panel covering the control card and
safety parts.
3) Back panel covering movement parts,
motors, air exhange and heater.
4) Lower panel with fluff filter cleaning lid.
5) Air inlet hose.
6) Drum-loading door.
7) Control panel.
6.2 COMPLETE APPLICATION
RANGE
This dryer was designed to dry various
fabrics, woollens, cottons and linens. Do
not tumbly-dry items that have been cleaned
or stain-removed with chemicals. The tem-
perature must be carefully selected accord-
ing to fabric type. Make sure that the label
on the garment shows the symbol that ad-
mits tumble-drying.

6.3 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM DETAILS
The built-in electrical system is composed
of protection and control devices duly lodged
on a plate at the bottom rear part of the
machine.

on in this manual.

7. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
7.1 OPERATION
Power the machine using the wall main
cutoff switch. Open the gas/steam and con-
densate stopcocks.
Sort the garments to be dried according to
composition. The maximum humidity in

the items to be dried is 120% and the weight
must not exceed the maximum indicated o
the technical details table according to ma-
chine model. The weight of laundry is in-
tended when wet and spun.
Buttons, zips, buckles and clasps on the
garments must be covered or turned inside
out. Do not dry fabrics with synthetic seams,
plastic print or plastic parts at excessively
high temperature.
Programs carry out three work stages: heat-
ing, cooling and unloading.
In the heating stage the hot air going through
the laundry (heated at the maximum tem-
perature admitted by the selected cycle)
transforms the water in steam that will exit
through the flue with the combusted gas.
In the cool-down stage unheated air reduces
laundry temperature and prepares the items
for the end of the cycle. The cool-down stage
is very important because it prevents stub-
born wrinkles and operator burns when
unloading the laundry. This step is also
known as PERMANENT PRESS.
Check that the emergency button on board
the machine is not engaged. If it is, turn the
button cap clockwise: it will lift and dismiss
the emergency status.

operation mode, which is attached to coin-
operated models.
7.2 CYCLE PROGRAMMING
When standard machines are switched on,
the display will flash for a few seconds
reading the firmware name and version
alternately and then it will go to standby
status. All programming must be done with
the door closed.
