FUELLING
Recommended fuel: premium grade UNLEADED fuel
(R.O.N. 95).
WARNING*: Fuel is extremely flammable and
can be explosive under certain conditions.
Always stop the engine and do not smoke or
allow flames or sparks in the area where the
motorcycle is refuelled or fuel is stored.
- Turn off the engine.
- Move the lock cover (1) sideways.
- Insert the key (2) and turn it a 1/4 turn in the direc-
tion of the arrow "A" to release the cap (3).
- Turn the cap (3) anticlockwise and remove it from
the tank.
- Refuel through the filler neck (4)..
CAUTION*: Do not overfill the tank. Refer to the
lower mark on filler.
- Refit the cap (3) operating in reverse order from
removal, then remove the key (2) and move the
lock protection cover (1) back into place.
Note*: The fuel filler cap (3) cannot be refitted if the
key is not inserted in the lock; you can remove the
key (2) from the cap (3) only if the latter is properly
closed.
