PELIGRO
Un disco sucio ensucia las pastillas y por consiguien-
te reduce la eficacia de frenado. Las pastillas sucias
deben ser sustituidas, mientras que el disco sucio
debe ser limpiado con un producto desengrasante de
alta calidad.
De conducir con las llantas dañadas se perjudica la
seguridad propia, de los demás y del vehículo.
Controle las condiciones de la llanta rueda y, de re-
sultar dañada, hágala sustituir.

ATENCION
Durante la instalación ponga cuidado en no dañar los
tubos, el disco y las pastillas del freno.
Para instalar la rueda delantera actúe de la siguiente ma-
nera:
IMPORTANTE
Aplique, de manera uniforme,
una reducida cantidad de grasa sobre el eje rueda (1) y
una cantidad mayor sobre el guardapolvo (2) del reenvío
del cuentakilómetros (3), véase pág. 18 (TABLA LUBRI-
CANTES).
Coloque correctamente el reenvío del cuentakilóme-
tros (3) con el alojamiento correspondiente (4) introdu-
cido en la espiga antirrotación (5) y, al mismo tiempo,
introduzca parcialmente el eje rueda (1) en el lado iz-
quierdo (sentido de marcha).
Asegúrese de que el cubo rueda (6) esté perfectamen-
te limpio, interior y externamente.

ATENCION
Durante la instalación no fuerce la rueda contra el re-
envío del cuentakilómetros (3) para evitar que el cubo
rueda (6) pueda dañar los dientes (7).
Acerque la rueda a la extremidad del brazo suspen-
sión, levántela e introduzca completamente el eje rue-
da (1).
Gire moderadamente la rueda hasta encontrar el punto
en que es posible introducirla del todo, con el cubo rue-
da (6) correctamente acoplado a los dientes (7).
Introduzca la arandela (8), bloquee la rotación del eje
rueda (1) con una llave, atornille y apriete la tuerca (9).
Par de apriete tuerca rueda (9): 120 Nm (12 kgm).
Vuelva a instalar la tapa (10) y encájela manualmente.
Saque el soporte debajo del vehículo.
Compruebe que los componentes siguientes no estén
sucios:
– neumático;
– rueda;
– disco de freno.

PELIGRO
Tras la instalación, accione varias veces la palanca
del freno y controle el funcionamiento correcto del
sistema de frenado.
Controle el centrado de la rueda.
Se aconseja llevar a controlar los pares de apriete, el
centrado y el equilibrado ,véase pág. 117 (RUEDAS /
NEUMATICOS) para evitar inconvenientes que po-
drían causar daños graves a los demás y a sí mismo.

A dirty disc soils the pads, with consequent reduction
of the braking efficiency. Dirty pads must be replaced,
while dirty discs must be cleaned with a high-quality
degreaser.
Riding with damaged rims is dangerous for the rider,
the vehicle and other people.
Check the conditions of the wheel rim and have it
changed if it is damaged.

While reassembling the wheel, be careful not to dam-
age the brake pipe, the disc and the pads.
To reassemble the front wheel, proceed as follows:
NOTE
Uniformly apply a moderate quantity of grease
on the wheel pin (1) and a greater quantity of grease on
the dust cover (2) of the odometer control (3), see p. 19
(LUBRICANT CHART).
Correctly position the odometer control (3) with the rel-
evant seat (4) inserted in the antirotation pin (5), while
partially introducing the wheel pin (1) from the left side
(travelling direction).
Make sure that the wheel hub (6) is perfectly clean, ei-
ther inside and outside.

Upon reassembly, do not force the wheel against the
odometer control (3), to prevent the wheel hub (6)
from damaging the teeth (7).
Bring the wheel near the end of the suspension arm,
raise it and insert the wheel pin (1) completely.
Rotate the wheel moderately and try to find the point in
which it can be fitted completely, with the wheel hub (6)
correctly coupled with the teeth (7).
Insert the washer (8), lock the rotation of the wheel pin
(1) by means of a spanner, screw and tighten the nut
(9).
Wheel nut (9) driving torque:
120 Nm (12 kgm).
Put back the cover (10) and fit it manually.
Remove the support from under the vehicle.
Make sure that the following components are not dirty:
– tyre;
– wheel;
– brake disc.

After reassembly, pull the front brake lever repeatedly
and check the correct functioning of the braking sys-
tem.
Check the wheel centering.
Have the driving torques, centering and balancing of
the wheel checked, see p. 117 (WHEELS / TYRES) in
order to avoid accidents that may be harmful for you
and/or other people.
