PELIGRO
Un disco sucio ensucia las pastillas y por consiguien-
te reduce la eficacia de frenado. Las pastillas sucias
deben ser sustituidas, mientras que el disco sucio
debe ser limpiado con un producto desengrasante de
alta calidad.
De conducir con las llantas dañadas se perjudica la
seguridad propia, de los demás y del vehículo.
Controle las condiciones de la llanta rueda y, de re-
sultar dañada, hágala sustituir.

ATENCION
Durante la instalación ponga cuidado en no dañar los
tubos, el disco y las pastillas del freno.
IMPORTANTE
Las siguientes informaciones se
refieren a un solo sistema de frenado pero tienen validez
incluso para ambos.
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.
Gire manualmente la rueda de modo que el espacio
entre los dos radios de la llanta se encuentre en co-
rrespondencia con la pinza freno.
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (1).
Par de apriete tornillos pinza freno (1):
25 Nm (2,5 kgm).
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación de la pinza
freno, sustituya los tornillos (1) de bloqueo de la pinza con
dos tornillos nuevos del mismo tipo.

ATENCION
No accione la palanca del freno trasero tras haber ex-
traído la pinza del freno, en caso contrario los émbo-
los de ésta podrían salirse de sus sedes, causando la
pérdida del líquido de los frenos.
Saque la pinza del freno (2) extrayéndola con cuidado
del disco del freno.

PELIGRO
Tras la instalación, accione varias veces la palanca
del freno trasero y controle el funcionamiento correc-
to del sistema de frenado.

A dirty disc soils the pads, with consequent reduction
of the braking efficiency. Dirty pads must be replaced,
while dirty discs must be cleaned with a high-quality
degreaser.
Riding with damaged rims is dangerous for the rider,
the vehicle and other people.
Check the conditions of the wheel rim and have it
changed if it is damaged.

While reassembling the wheel, be careful not to dam-
age the brake pipe, the disc and the pads.
NOTE
The following information refer to a single brak-
ing system, but are valid for both.
Position the vehicle on the centre stand.
Rotate the wheel manually, so that the space between
two spokes of the rim coincides with the brake caliper.
Unscrew and remove the two screws (1).
Brake caliper screw (1) driving torque:
25 Nm (2.5 kgm).
NOTE
Upon reassembly of the brake caliper, replace
the caliper fastening screws (1) with two new screws of
the same type.

Never pull the rear brake lever after removing the
brake caliper, otherwise the caliper pistons may go
out of their seats, thus causing the outflow of the
brake fluid.
Remove the brake caliper (2), by carefully withdrawing
it from the brake disc.

After reassembly, pull the rear brake lever repeatedly
and check the correct functioning of the braking sys-
tem.
