Desmonte la tapa colín, véase pág. 39 (DESMONTA-
JE TAPA COLIN - provista de soporte portamatrícula).
Desmonte los carenados laterales derecho e izquier-
do, véase pág. 47 (DESMONTAJE CARENADOS LA-
TERALES DERECHO E IZQUIERDO).
Desmonte la tapa carenado central, véase pág. 53
(DESMONTAJE CARENADO CENTRAL).
Saque el guardabarros trasero vèase pág. 43 (DES-
MONTAJE GUARDABARROS TRASERO).
IMPORTANTE
Prepare unas abrazaderas para
sustituirlas a la original.
Corte las abrazaderas (1) y (2).
Desconecte el tubo de depresión (3) de la bomba com-
bustible y tápelo.
Desconecte los conectores eléctricos del motor de
arranque (4) y (5) y del C.D.I. (6) y (7).
Extraiga la pipeta bujía (8).
Desconecte el conector (9) del cable termistor líquido
refrigerante (10).
Suelte el tubo de purga (11) del enganche.
Afloje el tornillo abrazadera colector de aspiración (12).

PELIGRO
Lave con mucho cuidado las manos tras haber mane-
jado el aceite. No esparza el aceite en el ambiente.
Vacíe del todo el depósito aceite mezclador (13), véa-
se pág. 69 (DEPOSITO ACEITE MEZCLADOR - VA-
CIADO).
Recupere el aceite en un recipiente y tápelo.
Desconecte el filtro (14) del depósito aceite mezclador
(13).
Recupere el depósito aceite mezclador (13).

ATENCION
Durante la instalación, tras haber llenado el depósito,
purgue el aceite mezclador, véase pág. 69 (PURGA
ACEITE MEZCLADOR).
Desconecte el tubo de impulsión aceite mezclador (15)
del carburador y tápelo.
Saque la caja filtro completa, véase pág. 141 (FILTRO
AIRE - DESMONTAJE) .
Libere el carburador, equipado con filtro aire, del colec-
tor de aspiración.
Destornille y quite el tornillo (16) y recupere el pasaca-
ble (17).
Desmonte la pinza freno trasero, véase pág. 107
(DESMONTAJE PINZAS FRENOS DELANTERO Y
TRASERO) .
Fije la pinza freno en el bastidor vehículo.
Vacíe completamente el líquido refrigerante, véase
pág. 75 [VACIADO INSTALACION DE REFRIGERA-
CION (excluyendo las tres últimas operaciones)].
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación, sustituya el lí-
quido refrigerante, véase pág. 77 (SUSTITUCION LIQUI-
DO REFRIGERANTE).

Remove the cover of the rear part of the fairing, see
p. 39 (REMOVING THE COVER OF THE REAR PART
OF THE FAIRING – complete with number plate holder
support).
Remove the right and left side fairings, see p. 47 (RE-
MOVING THE RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE FAIRINGS).
Remove the centre fairing cover, p. 53 (REMOVING
THE CENTRE FAIRING).
Remove the rear mudguard, see p. 43 (REMOVING
THE REAR MUDGUARD).
NOTE
Get screwdriver, to replace the original ones.
Cut the clamps (1) and (2).
Disconnect the vacuum pipe (3) from the fuel pump
and plug it.
Disconnect the electric connectors of the starter (4)
and (5) and of the CDI (6) and (7).
Withdraw the spark plug cap (8).
Disconnect the connector (9) of the coolant thermistor
cable (10).
Release the breather pipe (11) from the coupling.
Loosen the induction manifold clamp screw (12).

Wash your hands carefully after handling the oil. Do
not dispose of the oil in the environment.
Drain the 2 stroke oil tank (13) completely, see p. 69 (2
STROKE OIL TANK - DRAINING THE MIXER OIL
TANK).
Collect the oil in a suitable container and plug it.
Disconnect the filter (14) from the 2 stroke oil tank (13).
Take the mixer oil tank (13).

Upon reassembly, fill the tank and bleed the 2 stroke
oil, see p. 69 (BLEEDING THE 2 STROKE OIL TANK).
Disconnect the 2 stroke oil delivery (15) pipe from the
carburettor and plug it.
Remove the filter casing, see p. 141 (AIR CLEANER -
REMOVAL).
Release the carburettor from the intake manifold.
Unscrew and remove the screw (16) and take the cable
guide (17).
Remove the rear brake caliper, see p. 107 (REMOV-
ING THE FRONT AND REAR BRAKE CALIPERS).
Fix the brake caliper onto the vehicle frame.
Drain the coolant completely, see p. 75 [DRAINING
THE COOLANT SYSTEM (excluding the last three op-
erations)].
NOTE
Upon reassembly, change the coolant, see
p. 77 (CHANGING THE COOLANT).
