Spark Plug Maintenance
Champion RCJ6Y.
Spark plug gap = (0.6 - 0.7 mm).
Tighten the spark plug with a torque of 12 - 15 Nm.

Check the spark plug for carbon deposits after 10 hours of
operation and clean if necessary. Thereafter service the spark
plug after every 25 hours of operation.
1. Pull off the spark plug boot by twisting side to side gently.
2. Remove the spark plug with the supplied spark plug tube
spanner.
3. Assemble in reverse order.

• Wash your hands after handling this product.
• Always follow the chemical manufacturers instructions.

Some agricultural chemicals could be harmful if
inhaled or ingested, resulting in death, serious
injury, nausea, fainting or poisoning.
WARNING CHEMICAL DISPOSAL.
ALL Chemical Additives should be handles and disposed
of responsibly with care. Refer to local regulations and
recommendations of the chemical manufacturer before
disposal
Always empty and clean the sprayer tank after each use,
changing chemicals and before storing the unit. Follow these
procedures after every use:
1. Stop the engine.
2. Place the unit on a level surface.

3. To empty the sprayer tank:
a. Place a recommended chemical container by the chemical
manufacturers under the sprayer drain port (W).
b. Remove the drain cap (V).
c. Drain out the remaining chemical diluted liquid into the
container before cleaning.

4. To clean the sprayer tank:
a. Remove the drain cap (V).
b. Thoroughly rinse the sprayer tank with a clean water.
c. Replace the drain cap (V) and fill the sprayer tank with a clean
water about 1/4 full.
d. Turn on the engine and start spraying through the nozzle to flush
the pump, hose and wand to remove any residual chemicals.
e. Repeat step 4a to drain out the remaining clean water inside the
sprayer tank and replace the drain cap (V) when finished.

5. Disconnect the suction hose (Y) by removing the hose clip (X)
to allow any residual clean water to drain from the pump.
NOTE: Water left in the pump could freeze and damage the pump
in cold climates.
6. Reconnect the suction hose (Y) with the hose clip (X).
7. Rinse and brush the tank filter with a soft brush.
8. Wipe the unit with a clean coth or rag.
NOTICE
Rinse and washdown water should be disposed
correctly. Always check with your local regulations and chemical
manufacturers instructions.
NOTICE Lack of maintenance or improper maintenance, use of
non-conforming components and removal of safety devices can
reduce the performance and the life of the backpack sprayer.
