CAUTION
Check all product components and the accessories before each use. Replace any
broken, misshapen or seriously discoloured parts. Please also follow the instruc-
tions for assembly given below. Damaged components and an incorrectly as-
sembled holding chamber may impair the function of the holding chamber and thus
the treatment as well.
CAUTION
Risk of infection in the case of a change in patients. If the VORTEX was not steril-
ised before a change in patients, use a new mouthpiece, and a new mask if neces-
sary.
• Attach the mouthpiece to the inhalation
chamber.
• Remove the protective cap on the metered
dose inhaler.
• Shake the metered dose inhaler vigorously
before every use.
• Insert the metered dose inhaler in the con-
necting ring on the inhalation chamber.
• Take the protective cap off the mouthpiece.
When using a mask:
• Attach the mask directly to the VORTEX
mouthpiece.
