To Install the Manifold
1. Align the keyed manifold with the slotted
receptacle and push the manifold into the
receptacle of the desired canister of the
rover (Figure 3).
2. Rotate the manifold toward the lock symbol
until the manifold can no longer be rotated
and is locked.

3. Attach suction tubing to the manifold port(s)
(Figure 4). Use 5/16 in. [7.9 mm] inner
diameter suction tubing or 1/4 in. [6.4 mm]
inner diameter suction tubing with a 5/16 in.
[7.9 mm] adapter, as required.

4. Close all the unused manifold ports using
their corresponding caps (Figure 5).

To Remove and Dispose of
the Manifold
1. With suction active, gather the suction
tubing toward the manifold port to purge the
tubing of fluid waste (Figure 6). DO NOT
remove any attached suction tubing from
the manifold (Figure 7).

2. Turn the SUCTION LIMIT SETTING dial on
the rover to zero for the canister with the
manifold to be removed.
3. Push the SUCTION button on the rover
control panel to stop fluid suction.
4. Rotate the manifold until it is unlocked,
then pull the manifold and attached
suction tubing out of the receptacle,
always keeping the manifold in a horizontal
orientation (Figure 8).
5. Properly dispose of the used manifold and
attached suction tubing always maintaining
the manifold in a horizontal orientation.

To Use the Manifold with
Specimen Collection
If the retrieval of specimen is required, use a
manifold with specimen collection capability.
CAUTION: Repeated removal of the lid from
a manifold with specimen collection capability
may damage the lid seal and reduce the
vacuum level efficiency.
1. Remove the manifold's lid after the surgical
procedure (Figure 9).
2. Remove the filter from the manifold to
collect the specimen (Figure 10).

3. Properly dispose of the used manifold after
collecting the specimen.
