the thermostatic valves
When necessary, carry out the scale removal cycle; we also recommend cleaning the strainer
situated under the steam generator.
Shut off the power supply by turning off the main switch.
Lift the light bar (carefully unthreading the relevant cable from the panel) and remove
the covering panel by lifting it so that it comes away from the supports (refer to the
installation manual).
Remove the cover of the equipment zone.
Check that the strainer (RG) does not contain any calcareous deposits; in such an
instance, carry out the cleaning procedure.
Re-screw the strainer, restore the power supply and check that, during the subsequent
stages of rinsing and water filling, that the strainer is not filled with additional calcareous
deposits.
Repeat this operation until the water in the strainer is clear.
Re-screw the strainer and proceed with the assembly of the cover and the panel.
Restore the power supply via the main switch.
Depending on the quality of the water and on how often the hammam is used, the
boiler unit may require extraordinary maintenance regularly.
For this type of work, or for programmed maintenance, please contact an authorised
Technical Support Centre.
The thermostatic valves are equipped with filter strainers to treat any impurities. With time,
these filters may become clogged up and therefore reduce mixer performance; to clean the
valves, do the following:
Shut off the water (hot and cold) that is supplied to the shower unit.
Drain the water present in the mixer system by bringing the the diverter's ring nut
(S) so that it aligns with the "shower" symbol and completely open the stop valve (R);
subsequently re-close the stop valve by bringing the knob back to its previous position.
(1-2) Remove the tap (T) from the mixer knob, lifting it using the sharp point of a
screwdriver.
(3-4) Remove the screws (V) and slide out the knob (M).
(5-6) Unscrew the cap (C) and then remove the mixer's ring nut (G).
(7) Slide out the thermostatic valve (P).
Clean the filter strainers with a small brush and then rinse; if scale encrustations are
present, remove them using specifically designed products.
Reassemble the various components following the above described procedure in reverse
order; take care to correctly reassemble the stop tap's knob (R).
Assemble the thermostatic valve so that the screw head(s) (Q) face downwards, so that they
can be inserted in the brass groove.
