1. Vergewissern Sie sich, daß das
Unterteil der Spinde!welle (1) und
das Loch des Bohrfutters (2) sau-
ber und fettfrei sind. Reinigen Sie
beides sorgfältig mit einem sau-
beren Tuch.
Achtung: Das kleinste Teilchen

Schmutz auf einer dieser Oberflächen
verhindert den festen Sitz des
Bohrfutters. Dies führt dazu, daß

Bohrfutter und Bohrer wackeln. Wenn
---- 3
das Loch des Bohrfutters sehr schmutzig
ist, verwenden Sie eine Reinigungs-
lösung.
2. Drehen Sie die Bohrfutterwalze, um die
Backen (3) zu öffnen, bis sie
vollkommen zurückgesetzt sind.
3. Drücken Sie die Bohrfutter an der
Spindelwelle (1) hinauf.
4. Verwenden Sie einen Gummihammer,
einen Hammer mit Kunststoffbelag oder
ein Stück Holz mit einem Hammer, um
die Bohrfutter an der Spindelwelle
hinaufzuklopfen.

Installing the chuck
(Fig. L)
1. Make sure the bottom of the spindle shaft
(1) and the bore of the chuck (2) are
clean and free of grease. Clean them
carefully with a clean cloth.
Caution: The slightestpiece of
dirt on any of these surfaces will prevent
the chuck from seating properly. This will
cause the chuck and bit to wobble. If the
hole of the chuck is extremely dirty, use a
cleaning solvent.
2. Rotate the chuck barrel to open
the jaws (3) until fully recessed.
3. Press the chuck up onto the spindle shaft
(1 ).
4. Using a rubber mallet, plastic-tipped
hammer, or a block of wood and a
hammer, firmly tap the chuck upward into
position on the spindle shaft.
