9. Warranty and Replacement
9.1 Limited Warranty
Ambu warrants that the displaying unit (as defined in section 2.1) will conform to the
specifications described by Ambu and be free from defects in material and workmanship for a
period of one (1) year from the date of invoice.
Under this limited warranty, Ambu will be responsible only for either supplying authorized
spare parts or replacement of the displaying unit, as Ambu may decide in its sole discretion.
In case of replacement of spare parts, the customer is obliged to provide reasonable
assistance to Ambu, including, where relevant, by customer's technicians pursuant to
instruction from Ambu.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, this warranty is the only warranty which applies
to the displaying unit, and Ambu expressly disclaims any other warranty, expressed or implied,
including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
The warranty applies only if it can be established that:
a)
The displaying unit has not been disassembled, repaired, tampered with, altered,
changed, or modified by persons other than technical personnel (except with the prior
written consent of Ambu or in accordance with the instructions in the Spare Part
Replacement Manual); and

Dirty / damp screen

The distal end in the
visualization device is

Restart the displaying unit
1.
Press the power button to turn OFF
the displaying unit
2.
When the displaying unit is OFF,
press the power button again to
turn it back ON
If the displaying unit does not turn OFF,
force it to turn OFF by pressing the power
button for 10 seconds. Press the power
button again turn th displaying unit
back on.
If restart and force turn OFF does not work,
reset displaying unit hardware
1.
Remove all connected items including
the power supply
2.
Press the hardware reset button on
the back of the displaying unit*
3.
Reconnect the power supply
4.
Press the power button to turn it
back ON
Wipe the screen with a clean cloth as
described in section 5
Open the Image Adjustment menu
to adjust colour, contrast, sharpness
and brightness
Refer to the visualization device
