4. Use of the Displaying Unit

4.1. First Time System Setup
1. Unpack the displaying unit and make sure that all parts are present. Refer to the parts
described in section 2.
2. Closely examine the displaying unit and other parts for any damage. Do not use the
displaying unit if it is damaged in any way A .
3. Turn the displaying unit ON by pressing the power button
4. Connect the power supply to a power outlet and insert the power plug into the power
inlet on the back of the displaying unit E .
Log in as Administrator to get access to system settings. Press the Login

tool bar on the left side of the screen. Press the arrow 1 and select the Administrator 2
from the User list. Enter password and press Login 3 . The factory default Administrator
password is AmbuAdmin. It is required to change the password. For instructions on
changing the password please see the online Reference Manual on www.ambu.com.
Change System language by pressing the Settings

Press Setup and select Language 4 to open the menu. Open the System language 5
drop-down menu and select language from the list. Note that the language will change
immediately when selected.
Press Date & Time 6 to adjust time, date and time zone. Open the Time zone 7

drop-down menu and select time zone from the list. Select Time format 8 , adjust
Set time 9 and select the current date in the Date
