5. Axle Lift
The axle is raised and lowered automatically (in automatic mode the axle is in the
down position when the vehicle is loaded and raised when the vehicle is empty).
You can, however, lower it faster when the vehicle is empty. When it is loaded, you
cannot access this function.
6. Self-steering Axle
This axle locks automatically in the straight position when the vehicle is reversing,
with the electric reversing light control.
The 24 S plug must be plugged in.
If you need to lock the axle for going forward, use the control located on the
pneumatic control panel.
7. Coupling Height Adjustment
This option enables you to adjust coupling height if you wish to couple tractor
units with different fifth wheel heights.
Using the axle lift:
¶ To lower the axle faster when the
vehicle is empty, pull the button.
¶ To raise the axle, press the push-
button.
Using the axle:
¶ To lock the self-steering axle in
forward gear, pull the pushbutton.
¶ To release the axle, press the
pushbutton.
Using this option:
To select both coupling heights:
¶ Press the pushbutton to put the
semitrailer in the 1200 position.
¶ Pull the pushbutton to put the
semitrailer in the 1100 position.
