B. THE BODY
1. General Instructions
It is essential that you comply with these general instructions, which apply to all
refrigerated vehicles.
¶ Before the body is put into use for the first time, the customer should wash the
inside of the bodywork with products designed for transported goods.
¶ Always leave a door open when the vehicle is not in use.
¶ Comply with the temperatures to be maintained according to the class of
vehicle.
¶ Load the vehicle at the temperature required for transport.
¶ Cold equipment is not a cold room. It is simply designed to maintain a product
at its preservation temperature during transport.
The equipment should never under any circumstances be used to chill a product.
¶ Open the box as seldom and for as short a time as possible so as ensure that
the products are kept at their preservation temperature.
¶ Maintain uniform and adequate air circulation. For this purpose, be sure to
check the following:
- Sufficient clearance above the load (a minimum of 15 centimetres
in the absence of any special recommendations)
- Air flow under the load.
- Air flow at the sides of the load.
- Air flow in the rear.
- If there's a partition, air flow between
it and the load.
- Sufficient air flow to ensure the air
eturns at the front face.
- The condition of the ventilation ducts.
¶ That the inside walls are perfectly clean.
¶ That the door seals are completely tight and the floor coating in good
condition.
¶ If any of the wall coatings are damaged inside or outside, repair them
immediately.
¶ That the relevant vehicle approval certificates are still valid (take whatever
action is required in sufficient time to renew them if necessary).
¶ The design of your vehicle uses technology specific to Lamberet SAS and the
use of components other than the original components is not permitted.
Therefore it is strictly forbidden to drill, rivet, screw or glue any component
without prior approval from Lamberet SAS, and furthermore any such
component must be fitted by an approved Lamberet SAS centre.
For any preventive maintenance or repairs you may require, our after-sales
service is always available.
