8.1 Spreader Beam (rigid)

Attachment of load by two load hooks. Suitable for the
transport of loads with coaxial centre of gravity.
Optional equipment
• Suspension with eyelet (1)
• Lugs for suspension with chain sling (2)
• Resting bases screw-mounted to face (3)
• Welding hooks on face (4)
• Centred additional lug with hole (5)

General safety precautions
• The crane hook must be adjusted to the suspension
ring /eye. Please see the overview of suitable crane
hooks according to DIN 15 401 from table 6.7.
• The load hooks are not swivelling under load (they
only serve for positioning without load)!
Specific remarks for this model
8.1.1 Attachment devices may exclusively be suspend-
ed in the load hooks!

8.1.2 The attachment angle of ropes/chains etc. must
not be more than +/–15°.

directly over the spreader beam,
they can slip and consequently lead
to crash of the load.
If the angle of inclination is greater
than 15°, it can lead to overloading
and/or deforming of parts of the
spreader beam which may eventu-
ally cause the load to crash.
