AF TERMARKET LIGHTS*
The user/dealer is responsible to check the compatibili-
ty of the components and the viability of the assembly
on Urrun models that did not equip a front light from
the factory.
The components used on Orbea assemblies are not offe-
red as an aftermarket option from Orbea.
On Urrun models that are not assembled with the front
light option from the factory, the EP8 motor lights con-
nector is disabled from the factory. It is necessary that a
Shimano dealer activates it if a front light is to be connec-
ted to the system.
The motor light cable on Orbea assemblies has a JST con-
nector installed at the light end to connect it to the front
light used on Orbea assemblies.
For aftermarket assemblies, check the selected front li-
ght connection standard and select a motor connection
cable with the same connection standard. The cable that
connects the front light and the motor must have, at
least, 1100mm of length.

TECHNICAL MANUAL
The Shimano EP8 motor uses a bare cable standard
for the lights port.
The Shimano EP8 motor allows for the con-
nection of a rear light.
Orbea does not offer a rear light assembly
option on Urrun models, and therefore can-
not be held responsible of the viability of the
assembly. The user/dealer is responsible to
check the compatibility of the components if
they decide to connect a rear light to Urrun.
The EP8 motor lights port can be activated
connecting the bicycle to the Shimano Etube
Project Professional software for authorized
dealers using the Shimano SM-PCE02 inter-
face. Read the Connection to Etube Profes-
sional section of this manual.
