MAKING BREAD

Place the bread pan into the bread pan housing and turn it clockwise as shown by
the lock symbol

Push the kneading paddle onto the drive shaft in the bottom of the bread pan until
it is firmly secured into place.

Place the ingredients in the bread pan in the order specified in the recipe.
Note:
Usually, water or liquid substances are placed in the bread pan first, then the sugar,
salt and flour. Always add the yeast or baking powder last.
For heavier doughs using rye or whole wheat flour, reverse the ingredient order. Put
the yeast in first, followed by the flour, sugar and lastly salt. Then add the liquids to
ensure even kneading.

Poke your finger into the flour to make a small indentation and place the yeast in it.
Make sure the yeast does not come into contact with the salt or liquid ingredients.

Close the cover gently and plug the power cord into the wall socket. A beep will

Note: Before cutting the bread, check whether the kneading paddle is embedded in
the base of the bread and if necessary, remove with the hook. Never use your hands to
