• A backpack or other item worn on the airbag can prevent or slow down the inflation
of the airbag.
• The airbag should only be used in temperatures between -10°C (14°F) and +45°C
(113°F). Prolonged exposure of the airbag to temperatures outside this range may
damage it and affect its function.
• Do not modify or remove any part of the airbag.
• Do not sew or stick (heat transfer,...) anything to the airbag.
• Do not carry sharp objects (such as keys, knives, screwdrivers) in your pockets that
could damage the airbag.
• Remove any piercings in the area covered by the airbag.
• Do not shake or hit the CDU electronic card when using the airbag, as this will
cause unexpected triggers.
4. BEFORE FIRST USE
a) recharge the battery of the OFF-ROAD airbag
Before using the airbag for the first time, we recommend that you fully recharge the
battery (see page 34).
b) Check the cartridges connection
Before using the airbag for the first time, please check that the cartridges are
connected to the CDU electronic card. To do this, open the pocket on the right and
left side. Check the connection : connector in the right direction and locked. Close
the pocket.
c) Select your detection mode : rally/enduro or adventure
On the OFF-ROAD airbag the rally/enduro mode
using it for the first time, make sure you choose your detection mode according to
your application (see page 29) : rally/enduro mode
