e) Recharging the battery of airbag
It is recommended to recharge it every week and to check its battery level before
each use.
The airbag can be recharged with the supplied USB cable. Only the cable is supplied,
then you have to connect it to a standard USB charger (5 VDC). You must use an IEC
62368-1 / EN-62368-1 / UL62368-1 / CSA62368-1 certified USB charger.
Electrical characteristics : 5 VDC
CAUTION
•
Do not use a fast charge charger as this could damage the electronic system.
•
Never connect to the airbag an electrical device or an external battery with a
voltage of more than 5VDC.
•
The charging time, between 5h and 12h, is approximate and varies according to
the charging conditions.
•
During charging, the airbag is not functional. You must not recharge it while riding.
•
You need to charge the airbag at temperatures between 0 °C (32°F) and 45°C
(113°F).
• Do not charge the airbag near flammable surfaces or objects, or in direct sunlight.
• You must recharge the airbag indoors.
HOW TO RECHARGE THE BATTERY OF THE AIRBAG ?
You must switch off the airbag before charging it (see page 32).

Access the CDU electronic card by opening the pocket located on the back of the
left side of the airbag.

The LED flashes orange + 3 beeps
when you switch the airbag on/off.
