Instructions for setting and parameterizing
the welding machine
Use the process selection button to switch between
MMA process.
Turn the knob to the left to adjust the current.
Preparation to apply solder
Connect work clamp (ground) to workpiece. Make sure there is a good electrical connection to the equip-
ment. Remove any rust, paint or any contamination using a wire brush or polisher (grinder, angle grinder)
before connecting.
If you use a metal welding table you should regularly check the work clamp connection (ground) for signs
of contamination or corrosion. A good ground connection is essential for good results in the welding
application.
Electrode ignition
Insert the electrode into the clamp of the electrode holder by pressing the lever on the electrode holder.
Make sure you have the proper eye protection (face shield) before you start welding.
Note: UV radiation damage is particularly high during arc initiation.
To start the arc, drag the electrode over the spot to be welded in a similar way to lighting a match. The
no-load voltage of 62V starts the electrode quickly and the direct current (DC) allows the electrode to melt
evenly. If you are a beginner do not expect good results on the first try, take training courses and courses in
welding.
