Setting the capture range
The capture range allows unwanted zero deviations to be suppressed. The
setting affects the output measured value.
The feature can be used to define the capture range and set the capture
range limits.

Gas settings
The feature can be used to set the target gas, LEL category, and measuring
unit.
14.2
Resetting the gas warning device to the
factory settings
This can be done no earlier than 10 minutes after turning on the gas warning
device.
It will reset device settings, data for integration in WirelessHART
sensor configuration, SIL passwords and Bluetooth
The feature is also available in PolySoft.
Procedure using the magnetic pen
Placement of the magnetic pen

Reset gas warning device to factory settings:
1. Hold the magnetic pen on the marking (figure A 9) for approximately
15 seconds until the blue LED flashes quickly.
2. Lower the magnetic pen for 7 seconds.
3. Put the magnetic pen back on the marking for 1 second (LED stops flashing)
and then take it off.
✓ The gas warning device will restart and is reset.
