The gas detector is used for continuous monitoring of combustible gases and vapors containing hydrocarbons. The numerous detectable hydrocarbon gases are not
explicitly distinguished. The tables below provide information about the cross-sensitivities for important hydrocarbon gases relative to the three %LEL standard
configurations methane, propane, and ethylene (for the Polytron
