BASIC CONNECTIONS

Please be sure to connect correctly according to the
figure.

Please turn on the power after verifying that the con-
nection is correct.

The cables for CD player and for cassette deck have
the same width. Be sure to connect them correctly,
otherwise both units cannot be operated.
AM STEP switch (H model only)
This switch is factory-set to 9 kHz. When changing the
AM step frequency, follow the procedure below.

Unplug the AC power cord of the amplifier from the
AC outlet.
2 Set the AM STEP switch to 10 kHz or 9 kHz.

Plug in the AC power cord again after about 5
seconds, and turn on the system.
Speaker Connections
Turn off the system before connecting the speakers.
Use speakers with an impedance of 6 ohms.
Correctly connect all the speaker cables to the ® and
© terminals of the corresponding front, surround (rear),
left and right speakers.
When
connecting
the speakers,
push down
on the
speaker terminal levers and insert the exposed end of
the speaker cords into the terminal holes. Then release
the levers.
@ This
speaker
system
is magnetically
shielded.
However, if the speaker should cause poor color on
the TV screen, turn off the TV, and turn it on again
15-30 minutes later. If the TV screen still has poor
color, place the speaker system away from the TV.

Do not leave objects using magnetic coating near
the speaker system.

Hinweise
@ SchlieBen Sie die Anlage genau wie in der Abbildung
gezeigt an.
@ Schalten Sie die Anlage erst ein, wenn sichergesteilt
ist, daB alle Anschlisse richtig hergestellt sind.
@
Die Verbindungskabel
fir den CD-Spieler und das
Cassettendeck weisen die gleiche Breite auf. Achten
Sie sorgfaltig darauf, daB® diese Kabel nicht ver-
tauscht werden, da sonst keines der beiden Gerate
arbeitet.
Einstellung des AM STEP-Schalters (nur bei H-Modell)
Dieser Schalter wurde werksseitig auf 9 kHz eingestellt.
Zur Umstellung des MW-Rasters verfahren Sie wie folgt:
1 Trennen Sie das Netzkabel des Verstarkers von der
Steckdose ab.

Stellen Sie den AM STEP-Schalter in die gewGnschte
Position (10 kHz oder 9 kHz).
3.' Stecken Sie das Netzkabel nach ca. 5 Sekunden
wieder
ein,
um
die
Stromversorgung
wieder
herzustellen.

AnschluB der Lautsprecher
Verwenden
Sie nur Lautsprecher mit einer Impedanz
von
6 Ohm
und schalten
Sie die Anlage vor dem
AnschlieBen der Lautsprecher aus.
Achten
Sie bei allen
Lautsprecherkabeln
sorgfaltig
darauf, daB die @/C-Anschlisse nicht vertauscht sind.
Driicken
Sie
den
Hebel
der
Lautsprecherklemmen,
stecken Sie die abisolierten Enden hinein, und lassen
Sie den Hebel wieder los.
@ Die
Lautsprecher
sind
magnetisch
abgeschirmt.
Sollten sie dennoch die Farben des TV-Bildes beein-
trachtigen, schalten Sie das TV-Geradt einmal aus
und
nach
15 bis 30 Minuten
wieder
ein. Wenn
danach die Farben immer noch beeintrachtigt sind,
stellen Sie die Lautsprecher weiter vom TV-Gerat
entfernt auf.
@ Halten Sie Objekte mit Magnetstreifen editeerten
usw.) von den Lautsprechern fern.

CONNEXIONS DE BASE
Emplacement a fa verticale
La PX-ED9 et DX-D9 sont disponibles en option.
Remarques
@ Veiller 4 effectuer des raccordements corrects en se
référant au schéma.
@
Mettre l'appareil sous tension aprés avoir vérifié l'ex-
actitude des connexions.
@
Les cordons du lecteur CD et de la platine a cassette
ont la méme longueur. Veiller a les raccorder cor-
rectement,
sinon
les deux
appareils
ne fonction-
neront pas.
Interrupteur d'intervalle
AM
(AM STEP)
(modéle
H
uniquement)
Cet interrupteur est réglé en usine sur 9 kHz. Lorsqu'on
change la fréquence d'intervaile AM, suivre les démar-
ches ci-dessous.

Débrancher le cordon d'alimentation de l'amptifica-
teur de la prise murale.

Placer l'interrupteur AM STEP sur 10 kHz ou 9 kHz.
3
Rebrancher le cordon d'alimentation aprés environ 5
secondes et mettre le systéme sous tension.
Connexions des enceintes [1-2]
Mettre le systeme hors tension avant de raccorder les
enceintes. Utiliser des enceintes d'une impédance de 6
ohms.
Raccorder correctement tous les cordons d'enceinte
aux bornes @® et © des enceintes avant, d'ambiance
(arriére), gauche et droite.
Lors du raccordement
des enceintes,
pousser sur le
levier des bornes et insérer l'extrémité dénudée des cor-
dons d'enceinte dans les trous des bornes. Ensuite,
relacher les leviers.

Ce systéme d'enceintes acoustiques est blindé con-
tre le magnétisme.
Cependant,
si les enceintes
détériorent
la qualité de la couleur du téléviseur,
mettre le téléviseur hors tension, puis le remettre a
nouveau sous tension aprés 15 4 30 minutes. Si la
qualité des couleurs reste insatisfaisante, éloigner
le systéme d'enceintes acoustiques du téléviseur.

Ne pas laisser d'objet enduit d'une couche magnéti-
que a proximité du systéme d'enceintes.
