Functioning with tank level contacts
If you are not using level contacts (low and high), the high-level contacts (31-32) should stay shunted to
"tank half-full"
simulate a level tank
the low-level contact.
If you use these contacts: when closing both, the unit starts up, when the tank starts to fill, the low-level
opens, the unit continues to operate until the high-level contact opens. The unit will operate again when
the high-level contact and the low-level contact are both closed.
When the water level drops, when the high-level contact is closed, it is possible to restart the unit
without waiting for the low-level contact to close, simply by pressing the START button.
Tank empty
Both contacts closed: Automatic start
of the R/O unit to fill the fresh water
tank.
In case of automatic functioning with the tank level contacts, be very aware of changing waters (entering a
port or river mouth) these changing water conditions could permanently damage the membranes if the
pressure is not adjusted to the flow.
•
(optional)
. Start the unit by pressing the START button to simulate closing of
Tank full
Both contacts open: The R/O unit stops
automatically + prohibiting a manual
start.
Tank half full
(Factory configuration)
High-level closed (or shunted), Low-
level open: R/O unit waiting for closing
low level contact to start automatically
or manual control.
