HOT SURFACE! RISK OF BURNS!
During use, the appliance and its accessible parts become hot. Care should be taken to avoid
•
touching heating elements inside the oven, cooking plates and other hot surfaces. Children
younger than 8 years of age must be kept away, unless they are under constant supervision.
Accessible parts, e.g. oven door, heat deflector (for grill function, depending on model), can
•
become hot during use. Keep children under 8 years away.
•
Take care when inserting or removing pots, containers, accessories (e.g. grill rack, baking
tray) or when checking or turning over food:
- First turn down the heating level of the electric cooker or close the power supply completely.
- Protect yourself using pot holders or suitable gloves.
The appliance must cool down before cleaning and servicing.
Procedure in case of fire:
- NEVER extinguish a fire with water
- Switch off the appliance: Close the energy supply at all energy controllers/selector switches
and switch off the household fuse.
- Carefully cover flames, e.g. with a cover or fire blanket
- If fire spreads, call the fire brigade, inform people you live with and leave the house.
IMPORTANT
First heating procedure
During initial start-up, heat the cleared and closed baking chamber - without accessories - for
45 minutes at maximum temperature. During the heating-up process, the heat eliminates any
possible production residues.
Hot surfaces! Keep children away!
Ensure good ventilation of the room so that odours and smoke can be dispelled quickly.
Depending on the situation, possibly open windows or switch on the ventilation.
Enamel coating
During normal use, the enamel coating may change colour. This is completely normal and does
not represent an impairment of the function and other usage characteristics of the appliance and
is therefore not a defect in the sense of warranty law.
