Operating Instructions SATA Automatic Gun
EN
9.2. Normal operation
The automatic gun has an internal
control. The control air triggers
the control pulse and opens the
spraying air valve of the automatic
gun, thus ensuring that pressurised
spraying air is always present at the
automatic gun.
Before using the automatic gun,
heed/check the following points to
warrant safe working with the gun:
■ Automatic gun is safely fitted.
■ Minimum compressed air flow and
pressure is warranted.
■ Clean compressed air is being used.
Adjust spray gun inlet pressure
Notice!
If the gun input pressure does
not reach the necessary level,
increase the pressure in the com-
pressed air circuit.
■ Adjust the spraying air to the nec-
essary input pressure.

Adjust the material flow
Attention!
Using the material flow control
for dosing can cause wear in the
nozzles.
→ In normal operation, open the
material flow control to the full
extent. → Use the material feed
pressure to adjust the material
flow.
→ Only use the material flow con-
trol to adjust the material flow for
very small material flow rates.
Notice!
The grub screw
firmly in the material flow control
and is used for fixing the unit.
■ Adjust the material flow with the
material feed pressure.
■ For small material flow rates, fine
adjustment of the material flow
can be achieved by regulating the
material flow control [1-2].
Adjust spray fan pattern
■ Adjust the flat fan by regulating the
flat fan control (B) [1-5].
■ Adjust the round fan by regulating the
round fan control (R) [1-12].
