All automatic guns have an inte-
grated pre- and post-air control.
The nozzle head has a material
connection for material circulation
[1-8] allowing the automatic gun
to be used with material circula-
tion (see Chap. 8.3).
The automatic gun can be mount-
ed in a painting system using
either a fastening bolt or a quick-
change mount (Art. No. 145169).
It is then necessary to connect
the material and air supply.
The connection elements for
material and air supply are not
included in the scope of delivery
and can be ordered as required.
8.1. Installation with fasten-
ing bolt
Screw fastening bolt [3-1] into fas-
tening thread [3-2]. Secure with
Loctite 270.
■ Fasten automatic gun to mounting
unit in painting system with fastening
bolt.
■ Connect control air to control air con-
nection (ST) [1-10] on automatic gun.
■ Connect spray air to atomization air
connection (SP) [1-11] on automatic
gun.
■ Insert material connection gasket
[3-3].
■ Connect material supply to material
connection [1-13] on automatic gun.

8.2. Installation on quick-
change coupling
■ Insert material connection gasket into
nozzle head [4-1].
■ Screw spacers [4-2] in to nozzle head
and gun body.
■ Mount automatic gun on quick-
change coupling [4-3].
■ Insert fastening bolt [4-4] through
quick-change coupling and screw into
fastening thread on quick-change
coupling [1-9].
■ Fasten quick-change coupling to
fastening unit on painting system.
■ Connect control air to quick-change
coupling.
■ Connect spray air to quick-change
coupling.
■ Connect material supply to quick-
change coupling.
