environment –
guidelines
The device
generates HF
energy internally
and conducts this
to the transducer
for the purpose of
generating mist.
The HF emission is
very low. However,
electronic
equipment in the
immediate vicinity
may be disturbed.
The device is
intended for
use in all clinical
facilities (qualified
personnel).
14.2 Electromagnetic interference on other
equipment
Guidelines for avoiding, detecting and eliminating
electromagnetic interference on other equipment
Other electrical / electronic equipment should not
be operated in the immediate vicinity of the device
or stacked with it. If such an arrangement cannot
be avoided, the equipment should be observed as
appropriate to ensure it functions correctly.
Due to the variety of device functions, the effects can
be quite different and sometimes difficult to detect.
Examples are described as follows:
Device
− Type of fault.
☞ Remedy.
Radio, TV appliances
− Noise / crackling in the sound, horizontal stripes
in the image.
☞ Increase distance.
☞ Change arrangement.
☞ Change orientation.
☞ Changing reception channel.
Monitoring systems, e.g. Baby listener /
cordless telephone
− Noise / crackling in the sound.
☞ Increase distance.
☞ Change arrangement.
☞ Change orientation.
☞ Changing reception channel.
Wireless thermometer / wireless weather stations
− Interference with data transmission,
missing or incorrect display.
☞ Increase distance.
☞ Change arrangement.
☞ Change orientation.
☞ Changing reception channel.
