1.2.1 Laser Systems
The balancer is fitted with various types of laser
measurement and pointer systems. These systems
are protected by guards and are aimed precisely on
the wheel. Even though of low intensity, they can be
potentially dangerous for your eyes. Do not tamper
with their aiming direction and the protection systems.
The operator must ensure that the projected rays do
not reach directly or via reflection their own eyes or
the eyes of anyone close to the machine.
There two types of Laser projectors on the machine:
- Class 2M with power 1.3 mW, 660 nm CW in position
10 of figure 1-5.
and
- Class 2 with power 1 mW, 650 nm CW in position 11
of figure 1-5.
