3.10 CONNECTING THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM

��

For correct connection of the lift pneumatic system,

proceed as follows Figure 7):

�

��

Remove the Rislan compressed air fl exible pipe. One end

��

is already connected to the control console. The other

end has a quick fi tting to be inserted on the union of the

�

��

compressed air distribution system (fi rst check if the union

��

and fi tting are compatible, and, if necessary, replace one of

��

the two with a compatible version).

��

In all cases, we advise you to install a fi lter-reducer on the

��

workshop's compressed air distribution system, setting

��

�

��

it at a max pressure of 7 - 8 bar (see Parag. CHECKS

��

BEFORE INSTALLATION ).

��

3.11 CONNECTING THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

WARNING! Connect the lift limit-switches

��

electrical system to the distribution board of

��

the control unit before connecting the mains

�

��

supply panel.

��

For correct connection to the lift electrical system, proceed

��

as follows:

��

•

Check the electrical distribution board powering the lift

��

control unit: it must be provided with three fuses and a

��

correctly set thermal switch.

•

Check the lift operating voltage and frequency:

��

they must match the voltage and frequency of the

��

workshop supply mains.

is designed to operate normally at 400 V, 50 Hz

Connect the lift limit-switches electrical system to the

distribution board of the control unit before connecting

3.12 CONNECTION TO ELECTRICAL MAINS

��

Connect the electrical distribution board in the control

��

console as follows:

�

•

��

Check the electrical distribution board powering the

��

lift control unit: It must be supplied with a set of three

��

fuses and a correctly set magneto-thermal switch.

•

SPANESI S.p.A. supplies a 2.5-meter long cable for

connection to the supply mains. This length is usually

suffi cient to make most connections.

•

If, for reasons that cannot be overcome, it is impossible

to install the control console close enough to use the

supplied cable, the cable must be replaced.

��

WARNING! Do not under any circumstances

��

splice electrical cables to the power cable.

��

•

The power cable section must be adequate for the load

��

absorbed by the lift and for the distance between the

��

control console distribution board and the workshop

�

��

distribution board.

��

•

Before connecting the control unit power cable to the

��

distribution board, check that the distribution board

switch is in position "0", otherwise open the contacts.

�

��

•

Power must be connected to the lift distribution board

��

by routing the cable through the appropriate hole (1),

�

��

until it reaches the terminal board marked with the

��

power supply voltage.

��

•

The three phase wires must be fi xed to the respective

�

terminals marked L1, L2 and L3. Connect the earth

��

wire to the yellow-green earth terminal.

��

•

Completed the connection of the control unit to the

�

��

supply distribution board, close the control console,

��

securing the cover with the relevant 4 screws (FIG.8).
