activate the blade by
pressing the start button;

carry out sharpening of
the blade pressini sharp-
ening spring button (1)
for 10-15 seconds;

release the above-men-
tioned button and stop
the blade motion by
pressing the stop button;

with the tip of a pencil or
a ball point pen rub the
outside of the blade to
ensure that a slight burr
has formed. Otherwise,
repeat the sharpening
operation from point 5)
to point 8).
Elimination of
sharpening burr
1.
Reactivate the blade by
pressing the start button;
2.
pull and hold the finish-
ing spring button (2) for
2-3 seconds;
3.
release the button;
4.
stop the blade motion by
pressing the stop button;
5.
raise the sharpener and
rotate it to its original
position;
6.
release it until it stops;
7.
proceed with cleaning
the slicer.

DO NOT USE VEGETABLE OIL!
1. Lift the slicer slightly;
2. remove any dust residue as
described in section 6.2.3;
3. position the oiler on the slid-
ing rod and press on the oiler
so that a small quantity of oil
penetrates into the seat;
4. remove the oiler and slide the
carriage 3 or 4 times.
