Guarantee and warranty
Warranty claims are no longer valid in the following cases:
Improper use
Failure to adhere to the operating manual
Repair with unauthorised spare parts
Unauthorised interventions
Amendments to hardware and software
Proceed as follows if the charger does not function correctly:
1. Note the observed fault.
2. Use the STOP button on the front of the device to interrupt a currently
executed charge.
3. Then remove the mains plug from the socket and take the battery out
of the charger.
4. Note the device name and serial number as per the type plate.
5. Contact HOPPECKE Customer Service with your findings.

You must also follow the operating manual of
the batteries being charged

Do not touch any conducting metal parts of
the battery
Never use the charger when it is open
Always press the STOP button on the front of
the charger first before you disconnect the
battery plug in order to end the charging
process
Always disconnect all poles on the DC and AC
connectors before opening the device
Only use insulated tools

Ignition of explosive gases!
Danger to life, or very serious injuries due to
explosion.
Maintain a total ban on smoking, handling
naked lights, fire or open ignition sources
Only charge the batteries in well-ventilated
areas in accordance with EN 50272-3
Avoid generating sparks
- Keep to a minimum distance of 0.5 m
- Press the STOP button

Contact with battery acid!
Very serious injuries due to chemical burns.
Wear the prescribed protective equipment
made of acid-proof material when charging
batteries
Immediately carry out first aid measures
after contact with acid. These are posted on
the battery charging system
CAUTION

Crushing!
Crushing hands when connecting/disconnecting
the charging plug.
Wear protective gloves
NOTE
Failure to adhere to the operating manual may
damage the device and harm the environment!
