Dust filter/cooling:
The dust filter is positioned in a filter housing beneath the charger. The
cooling air flows into the device from below and is discharged via the ven-
tilation slits provided on the rear. The ventilation system therefore has a
modular design, i.e. air only travels through the modules and not into any
other part of the device. This prevents soiling of the device from within.
The air filter is latched beneath the device into an eyelet by way of two
lugs on one side (facing the rear wall of the charger), and is held on
the other side by two strong magnets (facing the front of the charger).
Pull the filter housing at the front to remove the filter – this will release
the magnets. Then withdraw the filter housing forwards. Follow these
steps in the reverse order to install the filter. First latch in, then allow the
magnets to attach.
It is not intended that a filter be cleaned. Please replace the filter as ne-
cessary.

Charging status indicator on the device:
The charging status indicator is optional and displays the current charging
status in a manner that can be read from a distance.
The following states are possible:
Colour of status light
Charger status
Standby – no battery connected. The charger is
Blue
waiting for a battery.
Active charging – the charger is currently
Yellow
charging a battery.
Charging complete – charging is complete
Green
and the battery is still connected.
Error during charging – an error has occurred
Red
during charging that has stopped the char-
ging process.
Leading charge current deactivation (pilot contacts):
The leading charge current deactivation protects the plug against
wear and the operator against injuries in the event of improper use
(charging plug removed during charging without the STOP button first
being pressed). Deactivation times of < 10 ms are achieved.
Ready for remote operation:
Remote operation enables operation of the charger from locations other
than directly at the charger display. The remote control unit consists of a
small housing with a display. Operation from the remote control display is
thus identical to operation directly at the charger.
trak | collect & trak | com IP:
A battery controller can be connected. The battery controller can be used
to execute chaos charging and temperature-controlled charging.
trak | monitor 2.0:
An RS485 interface is available for integration of the HOPPECKE Monitoring
System.
External ON/OFF:
It is possible to use wiring to digital contacts to start/cancel charging from
a superordinate control unit.
Active vehicle ventilation:
It is possible to control a vehicle's ventilation.
Automatic water refill control:
Automatic water refill control can be used. This involves an external valve
being actuated for a defined time after charging.
External charging status indicator:
Potential-free contacts can be used to output the current charging status.
