The data is saved into an encrypted archive on the stick. A progress bar
indicates the status of the data transfer.
An error message appears if the export cannot be completed due to
insufficient memory. An error message also appears if a USB stick has not
be inserted. The dialogue automatically closes after 60 seconds once the
process is complete.
The "Customer" soft button in the Settings menu can be pressed to navigate
to the Customer menu. The operator is prompted to enter a password. The
default password is "1234". The Customer menu enables the customer to
select from three menus.
The first option is for conditioning the battery. This is always necessary
when the customer receives a new battery. Battery conditioning can be
activated, and the number of conditioning chargers and the associated
charging factor can be selected. Conditioning serves to bring the new
battery up to 100 % of its available capacity. This involves using a higher
charging factor such as 1.2 for the first ten charges, for example.
The customer can also activate workshop charging mode. This is normally
used for compensation charging. A selection can be made between three
preset profiles. Charging occurs solely using an I phase while workshop
charging mode is active.
The customer can lastly configure their customer PIN. The customer is re-
sponsible for carefully selecting an appropriate PIN. A service technician
can reset this PIN via the service software if a customer loses or forgets
their individual PIN.

Cleaning
If using in a very dusty environment, install the optional dust filter. This
filter must be replaced at regular intervals as shown in the table below.

Filters that have become heavily soiled must be replaced irrespective of
whether the applicable interval has elapsed. The replacement interval
must then be shortened accordingly.
Check beneath the housing for dust and clean it as necessary using a
vacuum cleaner or brush.
Use only a dry cloth to clean the outside of the device.

Note on low-frequency system
perturbations/harmonic currents
This charger is a professionally used device. It is intended for commercial
use only. Some low-frequency system perturbations can exceed the limit
values specified in DIN EN 61000-3-2 and DIN EN 61000-3-12. Please
consult the relevant energy supplier if this is the case.
8.3
Regular checks
Conduct regular inspections at least once a year as pursuant to Industrial
Safety Regulation and DGUV Regulation 3. Follow country-specific
regulations where applicable.
Applicable standard: DIN VDE 0701-0702, equipment group IT (computers,
etc.)
The accident prevention regulations (UVV) according to BGV A3 stipulate
that the business owner, as the operator of portable and fixed operating
equipment, is responsible for checking that this operating equipment is in
proper working condition at regular intervals.
Portable electric operating equipment includes the chargers used.
The Directive for the Implementation of Regulations stipulates that
these devices must be inspected prior to commissioning (this inspection
is carried out in the plant) and at least every 6 months thereafter (every
3 months on construction sites). If the error rate is < 2 %, the inspection
period may be extended to 12 months.
An inspection must also be carried out after repair and recommissioning.
The specific inspection points that must be completed are:
Visual inspection according to DIN VDE 0701-0702:2008
Inspection of the protective conductor according to DIN VDE 0701-
0702:2008 ( < 0.3 ohm)
Measurement of the insulation resistance ( > 1.0 megohms)
Measurement of the protective conductor current as a differential
current according to DIN VDE 0701-0702:2008 (Device up to
4 modules: < 3.5 mA/more than 4 modules: < 10 mA)
Functional test according to DIN VDE 0701-0702:2008
Inspection of the inscriptions according to DIN VDE 0701-0702:2008
Documentation according to DIN VDE 0701-0702:2008
The test reports must be submitted to the operator and the copies signed.
If tests are failed and the corresponding devices are thus taken out of ope-
ration by the operator as stipulated, this must be indicated.
Conduct a visual inspection of the DC connector system at least once a year
(in areas with heavy soiling at least every 3 months).
Replace the DC connector system in the following cases:
Faulty strain release or handle
Hardening of and traces of smoke on the wire insulation
Visible wire breakage and green discolouration at connection points
(crushing)
Visible scoring on the contact surfaces
