8. PROBLEMS

Some possible problems wich may arise while using the lift are listed below. The Manufacturer will not accept any
responsability for damage people, animals and objects caused by unautorized staff using the equipment. In the event of faults,
you are advised to contact the technical service department in good time to receive advice about how to carry out work and/or
adjustments in maximum safety conditions, thus avoiding the risk of damage to people, animals and abjects.
Turn the main switch to "0" and lock in case of emergency and/or maintenance to the lift.
FAULTS
Machine not working.
Machine carries out rise
manoeuvre but not
descent.
Descent is extremely
slow.
The motor turns but the
lift does not rise.
The motor turns but the
rise speed is extremely
slow.
Cannot lift nominal load
capacity.
Platforms not
synchronised.
Release cylinders not
working.
Safety pawl not
working.
There are problems in
sliding between the
front ramp and platform
(RAV510).
CAUSES
a)
Main switch set to "0".
b)
Transformer fuse or general protective
fuses broken.
c)
Fault in electrical system
a)
Safety pressure switch activated due to
obstruction beneath footboard.
b)
Safety pressure switch damaged or
command system working badly.
c)
Descent solenoid valve faulty.
a)
The capacity regulating valve is not
working properly.
a)
The solenoid descent valve is blocked in the
open position.
b)
Suction pump filter blocked.
a)
The solenoid descent valve is partially
open.
b)
Suction pump filter partially blocked.
c)
Worn or damaged pump.
d)
Manual descent valve partially open.
a)
Calibrating valve faulty.
b)
Worn or damaged pump.
a)
Faulty alignment valve.
b)
Worn gaskets in hydraulic cylinders.
a)
Faulty solenoid release valve.
b)
Worn or damaged release cylinder gasket.
a)
Faulty release cylinder.
a)
Footboard guides and ramp control lever
not greased.
b)
Pressure gauge or adjustment screws
not adjusted.
TECHNICAL SERVICE STAFF REQUIRED
Intervention by others prohibited
a)
Set switch to "1".
b)
Replace used fuses. If a fuse goes again,
find the cause of the problem.
c)
Check efficiency, components and
connections (push buttons, solenoid starter,
heat detector, transformer).

Press the rise button until footboards go into
mechanical stop. Remove obstruction.
b)
To complete descent, press descent button
and fit pin A inside control unit.

Clean filter.
